Kevin Rudd home for Xmas in multimillion dollar digs
Former PM Kevin Rudd hasn't left QLD since March - as PM Scott Morrison was forced to apologise over - and why would he want to leave anyway when his richlist wife Therese Rein snaps up stunning homes like this new $7m purchase.

The jobs queen is among richlisters actively backing Queensland property in this low interest rate environment - though in her case, Ms Rein can clearly afford to just pick these homes up for cash.
Her husband Mr Rudd unexpectedly popped back into the national spotlight on Monday after PM Mr Morrison claimed Mr Rudd had been "doing the same thing" as Tony Abbott and Alexander Downer going in and out of Australia multiple times during COVID-19.

In a statement, Mr Rudd said "Mr Morrison claimed in the parliament (Monday) that I have obtained exemptions to travel in and out of Australia, taking quarantine places from other Australians. That is an utter falsehood. I haven't left Queensland since March. Morrison has misled the parliament & he should apologise". Mr Morrison has had the parliament record corrected and apologised to Mr Rudd today.
Mr Rudd was far from impressed: "In true #ScottyFromMarketing style, Morrison avoids apologising on camera by slipping it into the written record. And still not a peep from Dutton, who joined the chorus. The question remains: why is Abbott allowed to take places from stranded Aussies trying to get home for Xmas?"

Home for Christmas for Mr Rudd, thanks to Ms Rein's investments, is stunning Noosa Shire.
Ms Rein's latest purchase was reportedly a $7m home built by Hutchinson Builders, one of Brisbane's most successful family companies, headed by fellow Queensland richlister Scott Hutchinson.
The home called Coral Sea House was designed by J Dale Fisher Architect and completed by Hutchinson Builders in 2018.
According to the builder's website, the construction was worth $1m, took 30 weeks to build and has three bedrooms.

Ms Rein's most recent purchase is in the same suburb in Noosa Shire as her $17m beachfront dream home that she bought off Betty's Burgers founder David Hales and wife Louise earlier this year.
That $17m beach home was originally built as a forever house for former world tennis champ Pat Rafter, before he decided to pack it all in for Byron Bay.
Ms Rein, who made her millions off a business designed to get people back into the workforce after injury and disability, has been a prolific investor in Queensland property, something she's been able to accelerate since Mr Rudd's stint as prime minister ended.
CoreLogic records show Ms Rein has dabbled in and out of the property market, mostly investing in high end property including a stunning five-bedroom, seven-bathroom penthouse in Brisbane's coveted Admiralty Quays for $8.2 million four years ago.
