A ROOM full of women weren't just salivating over lunch when Lincoln Lewis led a small contingent of famous faces at a charity event yesterday.

The former Home and Away TV star and son of rugby league legend Wally Lewis made an appearance at Wishlist and MixFM's Give Me Five for Kids Ladies' Lunch at Novotel Twin Waters Resort.

He was joined by room favourites including Sunshine Coast Falcons CEO Chris Flannery, former MasterChef contestant Nathaniel, Nelly and PJ from My Kitchen Rules, and Olympic silver medallist Raelene Boyle.

While Lewis has focused most of his charity work on supporting animal, ocean and wildlife conservation, he loved the chance to come back and support the Sunshine Coast community.

"It's helping kids in my home state and I love to get involved with anything local," he said.

"I love the vibe (and) the people here."

The "ladies who lunch" created a raucous event early as each table excitedly speculated about which hunk or personality they would dine with.

Bottomless glasses of wine, elegant dresses, prizes and auction items were the order of the day.

The Give Me Five For Kids Ladies' Lunch began in 2011 and has raised more than $85,000 for children using the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

Among those in attendance yesterday was Ema Pyke, owner of InVogue Photobooth, whose stall at the event was fitted out with dozens of funny photo props.

"When I was younger, I was in Nambour hospital and they really looked after me," she said. "Now I've come back to sponsor with my own business because I believe this is a meaningful thing MixFM is doing."
