
Latest crash in horror run for Coast motorcyclists
ANOTHER motorcycle rider has been injured on the Sunshine Coast, the latest in a spate of motorbike crashes throughout the region.
Paramedics came to the aid of a motorcycle rider at Glass House Mountains after the crash was reported about 2.30pm.
The motorcycle crashed on Old Gympie Rd, near the Marshs Rd intersection.
The rider, a man aged in his 40s, sustained a leg injury.
Paramedics have taken the man to hospital.
The smash came just hours after a woman who was riding on the back of a motorcycle sustained leg fractures after the bike collided with a car at Noosaville.
Two male Sunshine Coast riders were killed on the road within 12 hours of each other at the weekend.
