League legends to visit Noosa

TWO Aussie sporting legends are coming to town this weekend and promise to share footy tales and some good-natured banter.

Max Krilich and Tommy Raudonikis will be in the Diggers Bar at the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Saturday, May 13, from 7pm.

The pair have been good friends for more than 40 years however their friendship takes a back seat two weekends a year when their respective teams - Manly and Wests - clash.

Krilich was the captain of Manly, New South Wales and the Mighty 1982 Kangaroos, known as the Invincibles, while his good mate Raudonikis was an opposing captain with Wests and also captained New South Wales and Australia.

Raudonikis will bring along items to auction on the night, which everyone is going to want for their pool rooms.

There will be rugby league trivia, auction to tables, photos and, most importantly, Tommy's Meat Pie Challenge.

A buffet meal of hot roasts, vegetables and salads, plus a dessert will be included in the ticket cost of $55.
