Coolum Artist Tara Spicer has donated pieces to the auction and she said her piece entitled "Tales untold" was based on her daughter and the adventures that await her future.
"In all of my works painting and photography I showcase locals, even the cat was photographed near the local school and I captured the snap of the Rainbow Bee-eater in the Yaroomba parklands," she said.
"I started the photographic process to get a look at the actual composition of my work before I started painting then I thought damn it, it's good, I like this - I'll print it.
"This piece is intrinsically layered to give it a surreal effect, so it's not unlike an oil painting the process is called composited fine art photography and it's a limited edition print."
"The oil painting I've donated is the last of my personal collection, I feel it's important to leave a wake of happiness in your life."
