Look how things have changed

PAST and present will meet on Saturday when the Sunshine Coast Daily, in conjunction with the Sunshine Coast Council and its Heritage Library, launches Then and Now.

The 140-page glossy magazine is packed with stunning photos from the Coast in its infancy - beginning in the 1860s.

Then...
Then...

We have pictures of Noosa in 1918, Maroochydore in the 1920s, Coolum in the 1950s and Caloundra in the 1920s.

Each photo has a companion shot taken this year - and you will be amazed.

These photos show just how much Caloundra has changed.

...and now.
...and now. Brett Wortman

Some places are unrecognisable, while for others the photos could have been taken yesterday.

The Then and Now magazine will be at Sunshine Coast newsagents for $7.95 from Saturday.
