Luxury Noosa waterfront sells for $10m
A FATHER and daughter real estate agent duo have just sold a luxury home at 33 Witta Circle on Noosa Sound for $10m - a far cry from it's land purchase price of $12,000 in 1974.
It is the second sale in the street this year for Noosa agents Luke and Lauren Chen, of Tom Offermann Real Estate.
The $10m sale also sets a new record for Noosa Sound as the first single allotment sale to reach eight figures
"We were deluged with inquiries and it's fascinating how many well-known and highly successful people contacted us," Luke said.
The pair sold a house nearby
in Witta Circle at auction in January and know exactly why this is such a hot location.
"The common attraction for them is that Witta Circle offers a waterfront lifestyle with boating options and it is only a couple of minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
"There is no other location that offers this.
"We had well over 100 inquiries during 13 Witta Circle's campaign, and many buyers who missed out and are waiting for the next opportunity," Luke said.
"Our company will soon be announcing several other ultra high value sales as soon they have settled".
Principal Tom Offermann said his team had been "working remotely since last week" during the coronavirus pandemic.
"Of course we are in unprecedented times which every Australian is trying to navigate their way through one day at a time, but when it comes to property it is important to bear in mind that real estate is a long-term investment and through all times of hardship as well as prosperity real estate has emerged as the basis of all wealth," he said.
"For buyers who have been starved of choice, there will be increased buying opportunities during this period of extreme measures we must all take to stay safe.
"Our team has been busy working remotely since last week ready to help."
This record sale follows on from the company's jaw dropping $14m beachfront penthouse sale of 8 Noosa Court in Hastings St earlier this year.
