Malibu Club in the pink

The Noosa Malibu Club’s October competition was held at Castaways Beach in beautiful offshore conditions and small but fun waves.

This competition was special, as the club decked out in pink to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which helps raise funds for cancer research and awareness.

Club members donated a gold coin for wearing pink.

In between surfing heats, members purchased pink club t-shirts and lucky grab bags and indulged in pink cup cakes.

All proceeds (more than $165) raised will go to Breast Cancer Awareness programs.

The next club competition is scheduled for November 21, starting at 6.30am.

Club members are to meet at Noosa Surf Club parking lot to determine the contest site for the day.
