Man breaks leg in motorcycle crash

A MAN suffered a broken leg when a car and a motorcycle collided in Maroochydore overnight.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Aerodrome Rd and Fourth Ave at 11.27pm Friday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was treated for a fractured femur and head injuries before being taken to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man was treated for leg injuries after being hit by a car at Wurtulla.

Emergency services were called to a Winch St address at 1.15am Saturday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was checked on scene by paramedics but did not require hospitalisation.
