Man in serious condition after shed collapse

An elderly man is in a serious but stable condition with suspected spinal injuries after falling about 3m as a shed collapsed.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man, aged in his 70s, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

The spokeswoman said the patient had reportedly fallen as a shed collapsed on a private Elimbah property.

Critical care paramedics attended and treated the man on the way to the hospital.
