Man suffers finger amputations in horrific incident
A MAN has had two fingers amputated after his hand got caught in a clamp mechanism south of Toowoomba.
The Queensland Ambulance report the man suffered the severe hand injury at the Elphinstone Rd property near Allora about 10.40am.
A spokeswoman said the man, aged in his 50s, was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with a partial amputation of two fingers.
He was transported in a stable condition before being transferred to St Andrews Hospital in Brisbane.
