Manhunt after woman abducted

POLICE are continuing to search for a young woman who was abducted at gunpoint from a safe house in Darwin on Wednesday night.

Monique Edmundson, 25, was taken when two men forced their way into the refuge and fired several shots.

Police believe one of them is her former partner, Joshua Walsh, who is on bail.

They say he has a criminal history, is extremely dangerous and should not be approached.
