Meet KC and the Sunshine Coast band of ironman supporters

THERE will be a dedicated bunch cheering on Mooloolaba's Casey "KC" Munro in Sunday's Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast.

"Last year with the first race (70.3) here in Mooloolaba, I'd say it was the best crowd out of any event I did, and I compete all around Australia," the professional triathlete said.

"In Mooloolaba the town gets behind sport and triathlon really well, and when half the crowd is cheering for you it helps you push harder. You want to do well for your friends who are waiting at the finish."

The ironman event is part of a massive weekend of sport on the Coast.
