Men in hoodies hold up Childers store at knife point

POLICE are investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight in Childers.

Shortly before 7.45pm, two men have entered a road house on the Bruce Highway and one of them produced a knife.

They made demands for cash, and the female attendant has complied and the two men have then left the scene with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.

The attendant wasn't physically injured during the robbery.

The two men are both described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 180cms tall and were wearing hooded jumpers.

Investigations into the robbery continue.
