Attempted murder charges against mum thrown out

A PALMWOODS mother facing two charges of attempted murder has had the charges thrown out due to insufficient evidence.

The 37-year-old woman was accused of twice attempting to kill her autistic daughter.

She faced two charges of attempted murder over what police argued were twice failed bids at murder-suicide on May 30 and September 22, 2012.

However the judge found there was lack of evidence that they were anything more than failed suicide attempts, the Seven Network reported last night.
