New farmers, twilight markets get council approval

NEW outdoor market organisers have been given the go ahead to set up in a developing Sunshine Coast hub.

Sunshine Coast Council has approved plans to start a farmers' market every Saturday morning and a twilight market every Friday night at Pacific Paradise.

The site, on Timari St and David Low Way, will hold up to 34 stalls.

The council also plans to revitalise the nearby area with streetscaping work set to begin early in the New Year.
