Rising young stars clash at Noosa

SUNSHINE Coast rugby league fans needn't fret about the end of the NRL season as some some of the nation's best emerging players will face off against each other at Noosa on October 1.

The Queensland Academy of Sport's Under 16-17 team will clash with the Australian Institute of Sport side following a four-day camp for the QAS squad.

The QAS program involves some of the best players in Queensland coming together three times a year for camps, with Broncos coach Wayne Bennett overseeing the program.

The program has already produced players such as Karmichael Hunt, who has made a big impression with the Broncos this season.

The match will be played at Noosa District Rugby League Club in Tewantin at 6pm.
