No clues on motive in daylight stabbing murder

HOMICIDE detectives have yet to establish a motive for the daylight stabbing murder of a Sydney real estate agent outside his business on Thursday morning.

Vissa Esan, 48, is believed to have been viciously attacked while taking out the garbage in an alley beside his Pendle Hill real estate agency.

He was taken to Westmead hospital where he later died.

According to the Herald, the Sri-Lankan born businessman's wife is expecting their first child.

A 34-year-old man was arrested nearby and is being questioned by detectives.
