Nominations open for Best in Business awards

THE Observer's annual Best in Business nomination period is officially open.

That means it's time to celebrate great service and reward businesses that have the best customer service.

Now is the time to point out those businesses that exceed your expectations and deserve a pat on the back.

From this week nomination forms are available in the Monday, Wednesday, Friday and the Weekend editions of The Observer.

Customers are encouraged to fill in nomination coupons for businesses they believe have exceptional service.

While votes from members of the public are the mainstay of the project, the top three nominees in each of the 26 categories will be asked to a complete a questionnaire, and the winner will be judged on the answers.

The winners will be announced at the annual Best in Business Awards night, which last year attracted almost 400 of the region's prominent business people.
