RUGBY LEAGUE: Discussions over funding between the Australian Rugby League Commission and NRL clubs have been put on hold.
Clubs, upset by the ARLC reneging on a 12-month agreement for extra money, had been asked to meet again for talks as early as Thursday.
But that now looks to have been postponed indefinitely to allow both the clubs and commission to take another look at their positions.
However, an emergency general meeting marked for December 20 to talk about the clubs' attempt to get rid of ARLC chairman John Grant looks set to go ahead.
