Woman allegedly involved in Qld crime sprees arrested

ONE half of an alleged 'Bonnie and Clyde' crime pair wanted after an 82-year-old man was shot at Lowmead was arrested in Warwick on Wednesday afternoon.

A 29-year-old woman was located at a residence on Albion Street and is being held in custody for questioning.

The woman and her alleged male partner are wanted in relation to a string of armed robberies, break-ins and car thefts across Queensland in recent weeks.

It is believed an elderly man shot in the leg at Lowmead in central Queensland last week is a victim of the pair.

The man wanted is still on the run.
