Corruption watchdog finalises probe

Queensland's corruption watchdog says it won't prosecute any Gold Coast councillors after an investigation prompted by corruption allegations.

However the Crime and Corruption Commission says it has referred some allegations involving Mayor Tom Tate to Queensland's Office of the Independent Assessor.

The CCC also says it has written to council CEO Dale Dickson recommending he consider internal disciplinary action against a staff member.
