THERE was cake, crocodiles and dinosaurs galore at Australia Zoo to celebrate Robert Irwin's 13th birthday.
The zoo gifted free cake and breakfast to all visitors before presenting Robert with his special present - a Pterosaur - which will be positioned at the zoo's Wetlands area.
After a couple of birthday formalities Robert, Terri and Bindi all took to centre stage so Robert could feed the zoo's biggest crocodile for the first time as a teenager.
"Today was just amazing," Robert said.
"I had so much fun, Monty was on fire with the warmer weather and it was so fun seeing Santa get in there and give croc feeding a go."
Happy Birthday to this amazing human being, my brother 💛 Today you turn 13 and I am so proud of you. This photo was taken many years ago, I still can't believe that today you're a teenager. Since the first day I met you, when you were born, I knew you were destined for great things. You inspire me every day. I love you. Ps. You now have Instagram! @robertirwinphotography
Terri said she was extremely proud of her son and was sure Steve would be too.
"While my heart aches that Steve isn't here for Robert's 13th birthday, each day I'm more aware that Steve lives on through his incredible son," she said.
Bindi Irwin also shared a touching birthday message for her brother to Instagram.
"Today you turn 13 and I am so proud of you," she said.
"Since the first day I met you, when you were born, I knew you were destined for great things. I'll always be here for you."
