Sale is in Cooroy’s jeans for local charity Lifeline
COOROY is going to be the destination of bargain hunters with denim in their sights.
The Lifeline Shop in Cooroy's annual denim sale attracts shoppers far and wide for three days.
From March 27 to 29 "unbelievably affordable denim" is up for grabs along with country clothing, accessories, Australiana books and plenty more.
Bargains range from Akubra hats to boots and the Hall of Denim Heaven with tonnes of popular brands, including Levi's, Lee, RM Williams, Roxy and Thomas Cook.
Lifeline will swing open the doors to the massive event at the CWA Hall on Maple St from 8.30am to 5pm Thursday and Friday and 8.30am until 2pm on the Saturday.
"The Cooroy Denim Sale is a treasure trove for those who love the country style and Cooroy locals have come to see this event as an institution," Lifeline manager Debbie Daybell said.
"We are always blown away when we hear of people that have travelled to come along to the event.
"The quality of the denim is so good people are willing to come from miles away just to get some great bargains," said Debbie Daybell, Lifeline Shop manager at Cooroy.
The shop will have an abundance of boots, belts, shorts, skirts and leather goods for men, women, boys, girls and even the little ones.
All products at the Cooroy Denim Sale are pre-loved, donated goods, generously provided by the Sunshine Coast and Gympie communities.
Without the selfless donation of goods from the community and time from volunteers and staff at the Lifeline Shop, the Cooroy Denim Sale would not be the successful fundraising event it is today.
Lifeline services in Queensland are operated by UnitingCare Community, a state-based community service organisation.
