Schoolies sex: ‘A different girl each night’

From drunken hook-ups at the club to sneaking strangers back to your hotel, one Schoolies insider has spilt on what really happens after those notorious nights out.

This Schoolies Diary entry is from Sarah, an 18-year-old who just graduated school in Sydney who is on the Gold Coast this week. News.com.au has changed her name to keep her identity secret.

I can now officially say that I have met Luke from Love Island. He was at the Hilton pool party on Monday and I got to have a conversation with him.

He even called me "adorable" so my Schoolies has officially been made.

If I am being honest, the only reason I bought a ticket to that party was to see him but it actually turned out to be really fun.

After the party, I met up with my cousin who lives on the Gold Coast and we went to Shooters nightclub.

It turns out she knows the manager of the club so we kept getting free drink coupons all night.

Obviously this led to me getting really, really, REALLY drunk.

I was so wasted that I had to be walked home by six Red Frogs, a network of volunteers who look out for Schoolies.

I was quite impressed I even managed to drag myself over to their tent to ask for help.

They were so sweet and basically carried me back to my apartment while feeding me water.

Surprisingly the next morning I felt absolutely fine. I have no idea how because my head was spinning when I got home.

But I wasn't complaining and my friend and I backed it up and went out again Tuesday night.

We ran into some trouble when we went to get into one of the clubs and the security took the ID my friend had been using off her.

She is underage and has been using a girl's ID that looks exactly like her and has gotten into so many different places with it.

It is all good though because she is going to download the girl's digital licence and use that for the rest of the week.

After she wasn't let in, I went and met up with some other friends.

I didn't stay out that long to be honest because there are just so many people hooking up in the clubs and I am not about that.

Everywhere you look, there are people making out and going home together.

The thought of hooking up with some random sweaty dude on the dance floor just doesn't do it for me.

I mean, no judgment, but I personally find it disgusting.

I have been speaking to my group of guy friends and they have been each bringing home a different girl pretty much every night.

All I can say is I hope they are using those weird condoms everyone got given at the Schoolies check-in tent.

Thankfully, none of the people I am staying with have brought anyone back yet because we only allowed two visitors each day and they have to be checked in before 3pm.

So after hanging out with my friends I went and got some Ben and Jerry's ice cream and put myself to bed.

Then I was woken up at 2.30am to the loudest alarm going off in my room. I thought the hotel was burning down and was convinced I was about to die.

It turns out one of the girls we are staying with forgot her keys and pressed the intercom connected to our room that you are only meant to use in emergencies.

I had to go down stairs to get her and bring her back up to the room.

I guess it isn't the worst thing that could happen though. Two groups I know from my school have already been evicted from their hotels.

One group of girls was evicted for having house parties in their rooms every night and a group of guys got kicked out for either doing or selling drugs, possibly both.

So at least I am having a better time than those guys. Also I got to meet Luke from Love Island so I don't even care how the rest of the week goes.
