Shell Panorama cordoned off for gas leak

A SECTION of the Shell Panorama service station at Nambour has been cordoned off this morning after a leak was detected in a gas storage container.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews found a minor leak after being called to the Nambour Connection Rd site at 7.25am.

She said an evacuation was in process as firefighters made their way there.

They were unable to isolate the leak and were waiting for a gas examiner to arrive at the scene.
