THE Noosa District State High School Cattle Show Team has taken out third place with a steer named Legend at the Hoof and Hook Cattle Competition.

The team learnt a great deal first hand about cattle leading, judging and stockmanship throughout the competition.

Year 10 student Ruby Hall said: "While we took out a third with Legend and didn't place with the other two steers, we still had a blast and it was very much a worthwhile experience.”
