Too much on Thomas’ plate to worry about Premiers’ trophy

TRY telling Roar left winger Thomas Broich there is a trophy to play for against the Victory at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.

Not just any trophy, but the Premiers' Plate in front of what should be the Roar's biggest crowd of the season in the Queensland capital.

But the process, not the result, is what matters most to the German maestro, who wears lime-green boots with "TB 22" and a German flag on them.

"It's the same old story every week - we don't focus on results, and not on trophies," he said.

"It's not just about winning this game and getting a dirty 1-0 and holding up a trophy.

"It's about building momentum for the finals and improving our game.

"Maybe ask me four more times."

Broich predicted attacker Henrique (prominent in the video footage attached to this story) to fire against the Victory, with the hosts minus star suspended striker Besart Berisha.

Henrique has missed some golden chances in front of goal this season, but is still  potent enough with the ball, scoring five goals in 2013/14.
