Tradies! Have these tools been stolen from you?

A ROOMFUL of tools has been seized from the garage of a Mooloolaba unit in a raid that was initially targeting drugs.

Sunshine Coast District Tactical Crime Squad officer Sergeant Todd Maguire said police searched a unit in Ponciana Ave about 10am Tuesday.

Sgt Maguire said about 3g of the drug ice as well as about 11 small bags of marijuana were found with about $2000 cash.

He said police found more than what they had anticipated when they searched the garage of the unit.

Tools and construction equipment they believe could have been stolen from work sites filled the room.

They included a jackhammer, power drills, generators and tool boxes.

"It's just an unusual amount of property for people who are quite obviously not tradesmen," Sgt Maguire said.

A 38-year-old woman has been charged with drug offences but as of Tuesday afternoon police were yet to charge anyone for the property.

They are calling on people who have had tools stolen to come forward to see if their belongings are among those seized.
