TRIBUTE: Dalby police officer given guard of honour
POLICE officers from the region lined the path at St Joseph's Catholic Church to hold a guard of honour for Michael O'Halloran today.
Dalby police Senior Constable Dan O'Hara read out the eulogy, reminiscing on the almost twenty years spent working alongside Michael.
"Mick was a teacher, mentor, defender, and confidante of the highest order," he said.
"Through thick and thin, trials and tribulations, our friendship managed to endure the revenges of time and we remained great friends quite literally until the very end."
Family, friends and work mates gathered at the church to commemorate his life.
He passed away on July 22.
Mr O'Halloran's eulogy will appear in this Friday's Dalby Herald.
