TripAdvisor lauds hostel hospitality

FOR six years straight, backpacker hostel Noosa Flashpackers, has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

“Noosa Flashpackers is immensely proud of this award which not only recognises the quality in all we do, but our wonderful, hard-working, friendly staff and our great guests,” Flashpacker’s Warwick Redwood said.

“To receive a certificate of excellence is a confirmation we are doing it right,” Mr Redwood said.

“Not only have we won this award each year we have been open but have also been inducted into the hall of fame for five years at the top.”

Mr Redwood and family moved to Noosa more than 26 years ago and are passionate about Noosa and its surroundings.

“In our opinion it is the nicest place on the east coast,” he said.

He said the certificate honoured hospitality businesses that consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers.

Heather Leisman of TripAdvisor said: “This recognition helps travellers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service.

“TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travellers feel more confident in their booking decisions,” Ms Leisman said.

The Certificate of Excellence is determined by reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.
