Driver freed from wreckage after two-truck crash
UPDATE: Police are controlling traffic around the scene of a two-truck collision in Harristown this afternoon.
One man has been taken to Toowoomba Hospital after being freed from the smaller of two trucks which collided at the corner of Anzac Ave and South St about 3.20pm.
A white body truck and prime mover carrying heavy farming machinery are blocking one southbound lane on Anzac Ave.
BREAKING: Two trucks have collided at a busy Toowoomba intersection this afternoon.
Emergency services are at the scene of the collision at the corner of South St and Anzac Ave.
The incident has closed Anzac Ave in both directions.
Traffic is heavily congested around the scene as emergency services assess the situation.
The drivers of both vehicles are believed to be free of the vehicles and are being assessed by paramedics.
The incident was reported about 3.25pm.
