Vivaldi's Four Seasons to be a concert highlight

THE Sunshine Coast Concert Band will kick off its 2017 season on Sunday, February 26 with a concert to celebrate the changing seasons.

What better item to launch the year than Vivaldi's Four Seasons and a selection of wonderful music featuring vocalists Tanya McFadyen and Dave Stygall.

Highlights will be September In The Rain, Autumn Leaves, Winter Wonderland, If Ever I Would Leave You and June Is Busting Out All Over.

Who would have thought the seasons would bring such a diverse array of show-stoppers and is there a better way to listen to them other than this 40-piece concert band?

Join maestro Ken Chadwick and this group of volunteers as they support the work of fellow volunteers in Rotary Club Maroochydore and the Maroochy Men's Shed.

The Changing Seasons Concert starts at 2pm at Kawana Community Hall in Nanyima St, Buddina.

Cost is $15 per person and includes afternoon tea.

Tickets are available at the door or book on 0417 649 686.
