A DASHBOARD camera has captured the moment a semitrailer slid across the Bruce Hwy in the rain and crashed into a woman's four-wheel drive.

Judy Sokol, who lives near Bauple, said she had a fat lip and a few bruises but was "happy to be alive' after the semitrailer hit her her Ford Territory.

She said she was driving into Maryborough about 2.30pm on Wedensday, November 19, when the crash happened on the Glenorchy Straight, south of Maryborough.

Ms Sokol said a four-wheel drive hit her vehicle after the semitrailer and her Territory was a write-off.

She posted the dash cam footage on her Facebook page and it has been viewed more than 3800 times.
