THE Broncos and Cowboys are set to battle it out on Sunday at ANZ Stadium in the NRL's first All-Queensland grand final.
Betting agencies can't split the teams, and with so much talent on display, the clash promises to go down as one of the greatest deciders in the game's history.
APN's rugby league expert Wayne Heming has delved back through the archives to come up with the top dozen grand final moments that were crucial in deciding the winner in that year.
Three will be revealed each day until Saturday.

1991: Penrith v Canberra
HOOKER Royce Simmons, playing his last game at 33, was the unlikely hero of Penrith's last gasp grand final win over Canberra, scoring from a Raiders goal-line drop out before emotionally declaring he wanted to have a beer with every single Penrith supporter to celebrate.
Greg Alexander converted Simmons's try to snatch the win
1992: Brisbane v St George
THERE was no better sight, unless you were a rival fan, than Brisbane centre Steve Renouf in full flight.
The Dragons had Brisbane coming off their own try line when Kevvie Walters and Allan Langer worked to shoot an early ball out to Renouf, who turned on the after-burners, sprinting 90m and outpacing the super-quick Ricky Walford to the try line.
The Dragons never recovered.
1997: Newcastle v Manly
SPEAKING of great grand final tries, Darren Albert's last-minute try to sink Manly in 1997 is probably the most talked about and popular one.
The fact Albert scooted over on the last play of the game after champion halfback Andrew Johns deceived the Manly defence by running the ball down the short side made it all the more sensational.
