VIDEO: Why Hey Ya has become the new Aussie anthem
SHAKE it! Shake it!
Prepare to get that catchy tune stuck in your head once more as someone has creatively made an Australian version of Hey Ya.
With Australia Day just around the corner on January 26, Melbourne musician Terry Mann AKA Coach Bombay has released a song that is sure to be sung at BBQ's across the country this year.
Reworking Outkast's infectious hit 'Hey Ya', Mann has created the unofficial national anthem in the form of 'Straya' (slang for Australia).
Jam-packed with true-blue imagery such as boxing kangaroos, cricket, political icons, celebrities, barbecue scenes and beautiful snapshots of Australian icons, the song and video pretty much sums up what it is to be Australian.
