Woman, children escape fire which destroys Coast home

SUNSHINE Coast police are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a home at Bli Bli on Tuesday night.

Just after 8pm, a number of emergency services units attended Morobe Crescent after reports of a fire in the dwelling.

A woman and two children were home at the time of the fire and all managed to escape without injuries.

Police were guarding the property overnight and investigators will examine the scene on Wednesday.

Police investigations are continuing.
